A group of female protestors were barricaded and sprayed with mace over the weekend at Union Square in Manhattan. Officers say the women were maced for blocking pedestrian and vehicular traffic. 80 protestors with ‘Occupy Wall Street’ were arrested over the weekend but as soon as they are released they rejoin protesting on Union Square. Occupy Wall Street tagline is ‘The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%’. Many have college degrees and masters degrees and cannot acquire a job within their field.
